Southern Motion

Founded in Pontotoc, Mississippi, in 1996, Southern Motion™ was born from a simple idea: to revolutionize reclining furniture. While shopping, Co-founders Guy and Sandy Lipscomb stumbled upon a painting titled 'Southern Motion' by an Alabama artist. This inspiring artwork not only lent its name to the company but also perfectly captured the essence of their vision: creating relaxed and comfortable furniture.
